Alquilar was born in Brooklyn, New York, and since she was probably schooled there this would explain her lack of a basic education.

Would it be too much trouble to punctuate this a little bit, and to complete the name of the country?!
Words are not this woman's forte. And from what I can see at her website, her art is no great shakes either.
