I think they should keep their political attitudes out of their public life unless they want the consequences. If they choose to make an issue of their politics, I can do the same when it comes to their company.

...and I can view the companies for the products they produce and if they are the best value for the money, buy them. I own a Swiss Tool, but would have no problems buying a Leatherman Wave. I happen to like them. I wouldn't appreciate someone not using my services because of a bumper sticker on my car, so I will not do the same to others.

P.S. I also go see movies made by people who have opposite political viewpoints. I am paying the ticket for their acting abilities, not their views on the world.

I agree that we can't boycott everything.
I agree that a liberal boycott of a Bush supporter would upset me.

Nevertheless, when someone takes a public stand of fighting against our American traditions, I'm not going to be a customer, if I can help it.
