I am probably getting ready to get flamed but so be it. I know nothing about Leatherman Tools but just because the owner is voting for Kerry I see no reason to not buy his product. This is what makes America so great that everyone is free to make a choice and if we can't make our own choice without being afraid we will lose our business then we are no longer free. There is no way one can quit doing business with everyone that will vote for Kerry.

Over the nest 50 years, sticking to one's convictions will be very important in a world gone mad. If this owner wants to speak up, he can piss off 50% of his customers. He will suffer the consequences of his decision to go public. It is the essence of a free capitalist society. Neither Kerry nor Edwards subscribe to capitalism (Kerry married wealth; Edwards sued wealth) and anyone who runs a business will rue the day if they get elected.

(The Johns say they eschew capitalism but Kerry married wealth and Edwards sued wealth)

"There is no way one can quit doing business with everyone that will vote for Kerry." No, but I can sure give it one hell of a try!
I have the special edition Ted Nugent Super Yool. I love Leatherman but sadly will look for a replacement.

it's one thing to make a choice... it's another to be STOOOPID enough to blab it to the world and your customers
that is what makes America so great that everyone is free to make a choice of who to buy things from and giving money to somebody who gives it to the ENEMY gets no money of mine... understand???

If they let me know, I'm willing to make a good effort.

No flames.
When Chrysler CEO Iococca (sp?) stated he was a big fan of gun control, my father wrote the CEO, and the local car dealer he had bought several cars from.
Iococca wrote back that he stands by his decision.
The local car dealer pleaded with my dad to continue to buy a Chrysler product.
My dad never did.
It makes a difference.

I myself am a little bit undecided about this issue. The left is constantly using social pressure and business decisions to enforce their ideology, so basically I don't have a problem with doing the same. I hope that other businesses will get the message that they should keep politics separate from business.
