"Tiny Tim" was an air launched, armor piercing rocket. It was designed to be fired from our carrier based aircraft and in theory could destroy bunkers, pill boxes, and warships. However, it only saw service at the very end of WWII and didn't have any impact on the outcome.

A "Tiny Tim" was an 11.75" Aerial Rocket. As an unguided rocket, it was launched from an aircraft against ground targets.

...from the sands of Vero Beach.

Wasn't that the working title of John F. Kerry's super 8 movies from Vietnam?

Sheesh--from the looks of Vero Beach--it resembles a scene where a few bombs detonated.
