I have 5,432 songs on my iPod and every single one of them is either ripped from a CD I own, purchased through iTunes or downloaded off a legal MP3 site. These are all clean files, perfectly labeled with artist, song title, album title, composer, year, etc., so that I can set up smart playlists. For example, I can make an instant playlist of all songs written by Ric Ocasek from 1978 to 1990 if I want.

Speaking of the legal MP3 sites, I download hundreds of free tracks just to stick on my iPod and listen to. Most of them I end up deleting but I've found some really good music this way.

SA,
Do you have any "favorite" legal mp3 sites you can recommend? I'm getting an Ipod and want to see what's out there? Any advice?
thanks in advance!
