It couldn't happen there.

Weapons are pretty much outlawed.

Right?

Two different events. This thread refers to the plot in Massachusetts, the thread you referenced refers to the plot in Texas.

Columbine

I went to high school with a kid who used to flip through movie stills of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" every day. I know because I sat in front of him in homeroom. He never carried any books. No one ever did anything about it.

I learned from my friends in HS that his dad was a dentist and had converted the basement of his home into a movie theater for his son who enjoyed watching violent pornographic movies. His favorites were "Squirm," "TCM," and "Dawn of the Dead."

Last time I saw him was after I had graduated from college. He was sitting on his motorcycle dressed in black leather trying to pick up girls in front of the local pizza place.

He's now a producer or director in Hollywood.
