Brilliant point. The Catholic Church (direct from Rome) has no choice to pander to Hispanics. Its numbers among Italians, Irish, Spanish, etc., are falling and aging. Latin and South American is the only place it's growing.
The growth of the church in Latin America has stagnated as well. Liberation Theology and inculturizations have done a very large amount of damage that will take generations to fix.
