That's the irony isn't it? The Republicans are providing the rope with which to hang themselves. Come on in third world poverty stricken potential Democrat voters. Not to mention forget the rule of law.

I'm of the opinion that there wouldn't be a Democrat party if Republicans weren't so greedy, and, indeed, out to protect the rich (at any cost). There is a kernel of truth to that stereotype protrayed by the Democrats. Of course the 'rats are all socialist/communist gun grabbers, so what can you do. This two party system is turning out to be a real loser, whereby we're enacting the worst ideas of both parties, instead of the best.

"Republicans weren't so greedy, and, indeed, out to protect the rich (at any cost)."

Well, that is the leftist party line...not that there is any virtue in persecuting the rich, if one group of Americans can be persecuted, then any group can be persecuted, and will be. Individual freedom is based on the rule of law, not the arbitrary rule of men, where the law picks and chooses who it will treat in what way on which day.

As far as being greedy goes, the entire Democrat Party position of wealth redistribution is based on greed. How else to explain taking resources from one group and promising them to another in return for votes?

And it is the Democratic Pary, not the Republican Party, which seems well on the way to being the party of the super wealthy (and the party of its serfs, the minorities) while the Republican Party is becoming the party of the ordinary guy, as FR demonstrates 24/7.
