and doesn't his daughter work for the Kerry campaign? i read that somewhere and wondered if it were true. if it is, why doesn't he disclose it? not that there's any doubt of his leftist stripes, but still, it should be disclosed if true.

"In debate against an opponent with the dangerously attractive attribute of freshness..." Is this a pick-up line? Does Oliphant want to vote for Edwards, or date him?
Sounds like the voiceover from one of those bizarre Calvin Klein Obsession ads. More than a little swishy, too.

Oliphant, Oliphant... yes! Now I remember! He was outed for offering reporters bribes if they would write nice things about the Clinton White House!
Does anyone have a date on this?
To: traumer
They should keep Oliphant and Morford in a room together and see who can out-whine and out-queen the other.

What they're saying is that experience is irrelevant today.
They are trying to justify Edwards' lack of resume by diminishing the value of Cheney's.
Cheney was a congressman, a chief-of-staff, Defense Secretary, corporate CEO, and Vice-President. His experience scares the Democrats.

"Poor sad little Mr. Oliphant obviously wasn't watching the same debate I was"
It reads like he wrote it before the debate.

The first time I heard of this prissy little girlie-man was when he got caught taking bribes from the clinton administration. I never understood why he still has a job.

THE COUNTRY doesn't need Dick Cheney any more.Actually, what the country doesn't need any more is the ever-expanding punditocracy. All pundits like Oliphant do is sit on the sidelines sniffing about the activities and achievements of other people. Pundits like to tell us what to think, how to think, whether or not to think. I, for one, am sick of them.

Cheney is now just another vice president who has had his hour on the stage without really mattering or making a difference. This idiot also thought that Cheney was running the administration. Flip-flop?

They should keep Oliphant and Morford in a room together and see who can out-whine and out-queen the other.Place them in a giant burlap sack, toss in half a dozen angry lemurs and cinch the sack shut. Then, sit back in a comfy chair with an ice cold one and enjoy!

Sounds like Oliphant has sand in his vagina again. That's funny, but seems appropriate. Ever since I saw this cretin debate O'Reilly you could see he is nothing but a member of the Kerry campaign press release transcription service. A real butt kisser, no original thought whatsoever.
