I apologize if this is a double post. For some reason I am not allowed to use the search function.
Leave it to the AP and ABC to completely miss the point. That Cheney and Edwards met does not change the fact that Edwards has missed an enormous number of votes, and that was Cheney's point. Although I find it humorous that Edwards didn't leave an impression with the VP in spite of his vaunted "charisma," this article, not surprisingly, pins the misstatement on Cheney without actually looking into the substance of the charge. It is a disgrace.

Apparently, Breck Girl doesn't make much of an impression.

Good! This keeps the issue in the news. It still shows that Cheney has never met Edwards on the Senate Floor, where HE HIS JOB REQUIRES HIM TO BE!!
The more the left (and the lefty press) complains about "Cheney's inaccuracies", the more the citizens of the US hear about Edwards' absences on the senate floor.

This were not substantive meetings. Underscored by Edwards not remembering any meetings in response to Cheney.

Here is the picture from JohnKerry.com that they're using to prove that Edwards and Cheney had met before last night:

I don't know and I don't care. If they did meet, it must not have been very noteworthy for Cheney. And just because the two attended a few of the same functions, that doesn't mean that they've met.

ROTFLMAO ... Somebody needs to tell the AP that it is OCTOBER of 2004!!! They are making Cheney's point for him.
