"Does anyone know how they are going to handle these voter frauds?"

I wish I knew! It seems that each incident is being handled however the county, city, or district sees fit. I'm inclined to see if my own registration hasn't been compromised by an "overzealous" Democrat recruiter.

FYI, it is easier to register to vote than it is to prove eligibility to play on a Little League tournament team. For Little League a player must provide at least four separate documents proving their age and residence. Talk about disenfranchisement!

The campaign has plans in place that are tailored to each precinct. Here in WI, for example, there are 25 target areas. There are plans in place for the polls and something extra involving the university towns. The specifics are not being made public, not even w/in the campaign, for security reasons: if they know exactly what our strategy is, they have time to figure out ways around it.

We will have poll watchers. We already have active scrutiny of registrations, as reported in the media. In the non-targeted, mostly rural, areas, we will have at least one lawyer available in each county. In counties where the available pool of attorneys is thin, incompetent, wimpy, uninformed as to election law, or unreliable as to party affiliation, attorneys from w/in the state, but from other counties, will be assigned to be on call for questions and any actions that need to be taken (I am assuming that action in the form of investigations or court cases will be after the election). There will be more attorneys in the problematic precincts.

If you live in a clean area or a safe Bush state, consider volunteering in a problematic precinct or a neighboring Dem or swing state if you can. Contact the state campaign in that state ASAP and find out the contact in the precinct in which you can volunteer (usually the county campaign chair) to find out what you can do to help. The help will be needed Friday-Monday before the election. If you can vote absentee or if your state has early voting, use that so you can volunteer on election day.

Each region within each state will have trainings for the Final 72-Hrs. In my area, they will be on Oct 20th. Contact your campaign HQ for trainings in your area. These are important and you will not be able to volunteer to work the polls or any of the GOTV efforts without the trainings, AFAIK. Phoning is already underway, as is door walking. Contact your County Chair for these efforts.

Letters to the Editor and calls to local, liberal talk shows are appreciated. Stay positive. Reiterate the campaign's talking points, with examples. Do not spend time dissing another caller or writer. Tell the truth. If you have points to make about Kerry, be sure they are factual and be prepared to totally substantiate them. Again: contact your County Chair, as most will have Communications groups already working on these efforts.

Nationwide, AFAIK, we have registered approximately 10M new voters. About 3-4M registered at Reggie the Registration Rig (again: AFAIK...I am not sure if all the numbers are in & I am taking these numbers from various anecdotal sources). The rest of the registrations were accomplished via church groups and national issue groups on our side. We have a lot of new voters who just turned 18. Many parents made sure these kids were registered ASAP. I have read that we out-registered the Dems in PA and FL, but not by much...under 10k or so, from what I can tell.

WI has no party registration & has same day registration w/proof of residency for at least 10 days prior to the election. Each state varies in registration and voting rules. I believe I have heard that in the City of Milwaukee there are emergency rules in place requiring ID, but I am not sure if this is just for registration or if it is also for voting.

If you have university contacts or other liberal contacts, listen up and see if you can find out if any organized vote fraud attempts are in the works. If you learn anything DO NOT POST IT IN PUBLIC. Instead, contact the campaign in your state and ask who this should be reported to. Rumors are not facts and we will act on facts in such a way as to not make us look like paranoid fools nor to give the cheaters any heads up that they are being watched.Be prepared to substantiate any allegations of fraud. It is a crime to accuse someone falsely. Paranoia will just waste resources.

The DOJ, FBI and Election Task Forces are coordinating w/state AGs and registrars to catch as much vote fraud as possible. Do not keep on with this public handwringing. Do something positive and volunteer so you are working w/in the campaign. This is in the interests of everyone, especially of the campaign, the party and the ticket.

If all else fails and if you are sure of your information, go to the FBI in your city or region. Vote fraud/election fraud are Federal felonies. I have been told that at least 700 cases are being processed as of right now. Some date back to 2002 or to 2003 local elections. Double voting was prosecuted in the Eau Clair, WI area (university student). KY is right now trying a vote-buying case. There has been another case I have read about in IN that is in trial or has just completed trial...can't recall exactly. Where you have read about double voting in FL and NY (for example) this information was made available from the Feds, AFAIK. Those people are already known and in trouble if they actually voted twice. Some were just registered, then moved and their old registration was not purged. This is all being publicized now to deter those thinking of doing this in November.
