Agree 100%...she was much more fair then I expected. I appreciate her a little more now.
I would agree with your assessment on her moderator skills. She threw tough questions at each candidate, rather than forcing one to defend his position the entire time.
She watched Jim Lehrer give a wink and a nod to JFK during the first debate and wisely decided to appear unbiased. I've watched her host Washington Week enough times to know she's anything but objective.
I got the feeling that Edwards is all nicey nice until someone disses him - then he becomes extremely mean sprited, almost mental. Very Jeckle and Hyde IMHO.
