Bluntly, I can't stand Edwards' version of a North Carolina accent, so I watched as little of the debare as possible, but......THAT MUCH SAID: What I did see seemed stacked against Cheney (I mean, Gwen Ifill as moderator? C'mon! She's to the left of Che Guevara!), and Cheney STILL kicked the Breck Girl's a**! All we need now is for GW to open up a can of Texas whup-ass on Kerry....

C'mon, Dubya! This ain't the time to show Christian charity to Lurch....KICK HIM IN THE NADS!!!

BTW, I thought the moderator did a good job. She held Edwards feet to the fire on a couple of issues, in particular the issue about Global Test. He never did come up with a good answer, but she pressed him on the issue more than once.

I watched the whole debate and thought Gwen Ifill was great. She started off with a very slanted question and I thought "here we go again", but, she asked Edwards some tough slanted questions too.

Cheney won hands down. Edwards facial expressions reminded me of Gore. Edwards also had this annoying habit of sticking his tongue out after drinking. Got to be pretty funny. Trial lawyers really are snakes.
