The elephant in the living room, as you put it, is the mandate to increase the supply of cheap labor, taxpayers, and voters.

We don't want to go down the same road as Europe with a long term decline of population.

It is a conservative mantra that healthy demographics are a precursor to economic expansion and the survival of our economy.

Give me a break.

You know as well as I do that only GOP and RAT members have won the Presidency in every election since 1860.

A viable third party candidate is someone who actually has a chance at winning. As in getting the majority vote and electoral votes.

All you need to do is look at Jesse Ventura to see what I mean.

Do me a favor and do not patronize me again. I find it disrespectful, and it is neither welcomed nor appreciated.

Foreign vessel meets demestic vessel at sea.

No need to swim.

And territorial waters extend only 12 miles I believe not 200.

We can't be fortress USA. No way to close the borders leak proof. We can however discourage all but the most determined. And once we've eliminated the 'noise' of several hundred thousand illegal immigrants we can more easily find the nasties.

USA claims territorial waters out to 200 mIles

What concerns me more than anything else is his demonstrated weakness at our borders.

What is scariest of all is that he has not seen fit to explain his position to the american people, when 85% have some concern over the issue.

Good explanation or bad, I don't care. I would just like one.

No, The US territorial waters limit is 12 nautical miles.

The US claims an exclusive economic zone of 200 nautical miles. This is for drilling, mining and fishing not passage.
