Mike Barnicle was comparing the debate to a Dad who is listening to stupid ramblings and excuses from his son, and Dad (Cheney) firmly corrects his misguided little boy over and over.

Barnicle said Cheney should have asked Edwards for the "keys to the car" at the end of the debate.

I know, it's great. But I suspect a lot of women were taken in by the Breck Girl.

The tragic thing about MSNBC is that they give Ron Reagan Jr. a platform-- what sadness that girly man must have brought to his gigantic, patriotic father!!

Sorry, but neither do I believe it, nor do I believe it's worth watching. MSNBC is has-been territory.

After the last debate when Joe Scarborough unmercifully bashed Bush, I removed the MSNBC channel stop off my TV's menu. So, they're done.

Kept having to remind myself I was watching MSNBC. At some point the media is going to want to be on the winning side, maybe this is the beginning.

I see the dNC talking point is out and has been faxed to the media, and it is: "Dick Cheney lloked so presidential tonight, it makes you think he's the real president." Heard variations on this on cNN and pBS

I am pleased with Cheney's performance tonight. He did not allow the Breck girl to get away with any cheap shots. If Bush follows Cheney's example in the next 2 debates, then GW Bush will paint the entire South and Midwest "Red" on November 2.

it is mind-blowing how all the Dema-dweebs go right to all the little News site online polls and spin the polling to a 'win' for Edwards. These sorts of people are utterly without moral character or spine , they wouldn't see or know the truth if it came up and bit them on the okole!
Let's just all get out the vote in a few weeks and crush these
morons once an for all , banish them for 4 more years to the nether region of whining and complaining from the ignored sidelines.

ron REAGAN's remarks: This time, I think the chattering classes, and I include all of us among them, will come out on the side of— there was a stature gap there, and it was to Cheney's advantage. I am not sure that that stature gap is going to be quite so apparent, though, to the general public.

A little above the rest of us ron? I know I don't have yout ballet experience, but I think I noticed the stature gap, it was quite apparent to me.

Ha! Scarborough upon noting the MSNBC poll displaying 68-32 favoring Edwards in the debate:

"Maybe you'll be drinking the same kind of Vodka 68% of the voters are drinking."

Howard Fineman pointing out how inconsistent Kerry-Edwards are being by saying they'll win the war in Iraq but then trashing President Ahlawi, a man they would have to work with.

The whole panel is hammering them on their inconsistent stance on Iraq. Well, not Ron Reagan.

Question : where are all the young people with Bush/Cheney signs??? get them out there....
The Flippers are a cute touch , but I see only one Bush sign
in 50 for Kerry .
This is a mistake...should be a big part of the spin .
Two debates to go , let's roll people!

Edwards kinda looked like a robot that was having multiple malfunctions tonight.

Cheney's confidence was classic.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING: It's 9/11, planes have hit the Twin Towers. Thousands of planes are in the air. You just receive a report that a plane is heading for Washington, coming in low and fast. Cut to the underground bunker at the White House. Question: Who do you want to see "in command" at the bunker? Cheney or Edwards. Enough said.
