Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) did something a little unusual yesterday. First he protested when Republican leadership scheduled his own bill for a vote.

Aw, come on, Mister Rangel, where is the courage of your convictions? You deliberately authored and sponsored a dreadful piece of legislation which has now taken you by surprise because you did not expect it to be scheduled for a vote so soon. Do you suffer from the same intellectual disease (DEATH BY A THOUSAND NUANCES - FOOLING ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME) that afflicts John Effin' Kerry? Aw, come on, reinstate the draft, already, and just tell 'em -- CHARLEY SENT YA!!! And then no doubt you will complain that minorities are being drafted in numbers far higher than their proportion in the general population. (LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL ILLNESS! "DIVERSITY" IS THE NEW FACE OF RACISM.)

"I am voting no, because my bill deserves serious consideration,” his statement continued. "

Excuse me? Excuse me? Trying to make sense from a liberal can be a full time job in itself.

I'm not going to vote for my own bill, because it deserves to be taken seriously....not voting because it deserves to be taken seriously....
Nope....still not getting it....
