What can the government do?? Black women are getting AIDS too much in this country from either cheating husbands or their own promiscuity. I feel very bad for the poor wives who get it innocently. The others should save sex for marriage and pick really well. Unfortunately, black (and white) popular culture pushes casual sex into everyone's faces.
I agree with you, but it isn't cost efficient to do nothing if we end up paying for the medical costs. I thought Cheney missed an opportunity to talk about faith based initiatives and some of the pro-family funding under the Bush administration. Regardless, I think Edwards missed an opportunity to show he had a clue about a constituency that they claim all their own.
