There has not been a single case of anyone with terrorists ties illegally crossing the Mexican border.

Terrorists don't need to walk for days across a desert or swim the Rio Grange. They have the government sponsored resources to get official passports, identification papers and visas. All of the terrorists involved in 9/11 entered the U.S. legally. Under false pretenses yes, but with legal visas.

Think about it. The odds of anyone swimming the river or crawling the desert getting caught by the border patrol is at least 10%. Everyone swimming the river is automatically guilty, no one flying first class is automatically guilty. The odds of someone with a valid visa and no prior terrorist record being caught is zero. Then add the odds of being sold out by the coyote for the rewards offered by the U.S., dying in the desert, or being killed by the smugglers for your money, and a terrorist would have to be an idiot to try illegally crossing the border.

Congressman Culbertson recently set out the route that terrorists have taken to enter the U.S. from Mexico. It is across official border crossings using government issued papers.

But the Buchanan/Tancredo devotees are so filled with hatred of Mexican immigrants that they will embrace any propaganda to legitimize their feelings.

This sounds a bit rash, but their rhetoric makes me wonder if maybe you aren't right.

You must be a leftwinger, because that is a typical liberal tactic -- if you disagree in the slightest with the pro-unending mass immigration enthusiasts then it must be because you hate Mexicans, or immigrants in general.

It can't possibly be for any rational reason can it? No, its because we hate Mexicans. Ted Kennedy would be proud. Thanks for letting me know that, because here I was thinking that my opposition to mass immigration had to do with reasons relating to history, the economy, politics, etc. But now I know its because I hate Mexicans.

Whatever

I see you also insist on using the term 'Mexican immigrants' when it should be 'illegal Mexican immigrants.' Don't tell me you've also adopted the leftwing tactic of forever removing the word 'illegal' when speaking of illegal aliens.

Now exactly what hate-filled rhetoric has Tancredo used when speaking of 'Mexican immigrants'? What about Buchanan?

Its my guess that your idea of hate filled speech is in reality a expression of what happens to be mainstream, majority American views on immigration.

Considering the fact that a large majority of the illegal aliens who attempt to cross our southern border are successful, it makes me wonder how many illegal aliens with terrorist ties weren't caught while making the crossing and are now residing somewhere in the United States.

Keep your head buried in the sand. Appears your taking the Bush approach to our open borders and nation security. Time will tell and it ain't going to be pretty. Until you've lived on the border speak softly of what you know nothing about.

And La Raza/MEChA devotees like you show up on threads like this and wave your Race Card in the face of anybody who dares to speak out against illegal immigration.

You mean people like me? Devotees? Dude, I can't stand Buchanan. I happen to be of Latino ancestry. And I can't stand all the damn ILLEGAL (you left that word out) ALIENS pouring into L.A. and making my home the waiting room for hell.
