Now is not the time to be breaking the 11th commandment. Reagan would not be pleased.

I agree with Tancredo, but this is not the time. He's just being used by the MSM. Recently I saw him as a guest on CNN; the host hung on his every word as if it were gospel - far from the treatment a Republican usually gets. Tancredo seemed unaware that CNN was treating him nicely only because he was bashing Bush.

U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., warned President Bush on Monday not to play politics with homeland security, after the White House reportedly asked Congress to remove some immigration measures from a pending intelligence bill. The legislation is me
Tancredo is a paranoid lunatic. If his views are so vital, why tag them onto an Intelligence bill instead of offering it up as separate legislation? Because unlike most of the hard right paranoids, Tancredo knows he cannot win this on the merits. Why is the Hard Right so bound and determined to elect John Kerry? You guys so hate Bush on Immigration that you are doing everything you can to help Kerry. Are you really this DUMB? Do you REALLY think a guy who wants to give Nuke fuel to IRAN is going to be tough on immigration? Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!!!

"Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., warned President Bush on Monday not to play politics with homeland security," Tabcredo is a liar and fraud. His campaign against Mexican immigrants has nothing whatsoever to do with homeland security. Terrorists do not sneak across the border, they enter at official immigration points using documents issued by legitimate government agencies.
Tancredo is the idiot who proposed a 5% tax on transactions which almost exclusively applied to one American corporation. The silly airhead backed off as soon as someone informed him that the company was headquartered in his district and was the largest employer in his district. Karl Rove threw him out of the White House months ago with instructions to never come back.

How anyone can defend Bush on this and continue yammering about how Tancredo is a hothead, I don't understand.
This alone should be reason enough for "conservatives" to tell Bush to go pound sand.
