It's like this... I have to post and then jump back to a page and then to the end??? How to you get a chance to read anything because it's gone by so fast! Is there a shortcut or what?? Any assistance to this old lady would be greatly appreciated... My mother said 'ladies do not admit their age... they just admit to needing help...' I could use assistance on getting into this thing without having to get all the way out and back in again. (Sigh.)

I did my part today. I told my social studies class I would give them extra credit if they watched a 1/2 hour of the debate.

Of course being a good conservative I trust but varify. Their parents must sign a note saying they watched it.

Just start where you are right now. Read down the replies. If you see one you wish to reply to, post the reply. Then hit your back button which will take you back to the post you replied to, and you can continue on.

Or, you can just read and periodically hit the refresh button.

It takes a while to get the hang of it. I am a quick typist, so it is easier for me. Don't leave, though. You'll get the hang of it!

After you hit the "post" button and you see that your post is in place, use and reuse the back button on your browser until you get back to the post you just replied to (usually three or four times).

As you go backwards you will see the 'review' screen (with your post typed in), then the 'post screen' and eventually, you'll get back to the post you originally reply to. Then proceed forward reading the thread from there.

Ta-da, you've missed nothing (although given the time that passes while you post, you will have some catching up to do).

I find it helps to know that if I miss 200 posts it is no big deal, the usual funny stuff is coming up over and over.
