Chris Matthews said Cheney went out like a hunter looking for quirrel...and he found some, ha. They think Cheney was awesome. Joe Scarborough said he "obliterated" Edwards.
Tom Brokaw and Tim Russert are talking about Cheney's great soundbites ("If you can't stand up to Howard Dean, how will you stand up to Al Qaida?) Tom Brokaw says they're over stating what they can do with the war...can make the case rhetorically, can't make it practically....Cheney reminded him of school principal sitting Edwards down in the office. lol
Somebody on one channel said Edwards was shooting with a water pistol, and Cheney would come back and blast him away with a machine gun. :-)
Four years ago I had wished Cheney was running for president, I wish that even more today, even though I love GW to death. Cheney is a master at work. He's amazing, he leaves my mouth hanging open.
I'm gonna remember "I've never met you til tonite" and "Senator Gone" for a loong time. This will be one of those they replay for years on the "great debates" shows!
Cheney rocks, but he does not have the same ability to connect with the american people. GW, when is on, can really move you in a deep yet subtle way. None of the other men on either ticket has that power,
