RE 313;

"...in Florida, they even stormed into a Republican office and destroyed property while roughing up some of the volunteers."

As long as the Pubs keep taking this sort of abuse, the Left will keep dishing it out - in increasingly genereous portions.

But if any one DOES offer effective resistance to these commie thug attacks, don't expect much sympathy from the Law or the Judicial system.

Chances are some ACLU Lawyer will own their house before it's all over.

We might want to start taking up a victim defense fund already, in anticipation of it.
Do we have a database of FR/GOP friendly Lawyers for each State ready to roll?

What do you think?

- I'm sure Rove's people at national HQ would be able to supply such a list of names.
However, I see the real benefit is not so much from a "victim defense fund" point of view, but rather from a "victim compensation fund". If only a relatively few number of people (such as ourselves and other freepers) could be persuaded to contribute even a modest amount to a "fund" to reimburse campaign workers for possible injury or pain and suffering inflicted on them by Democratic goons, the publicity fallout would be worth millions of advertising dollars if you had to buy it. Can you imagine if a press bulletin were to be issued to all news organizations which pointed to the numerous vandalism's, shoot ups and physical assaults that have taken place against Republican volunteers and their offices and, in response to concerns for the workers personal safety, a fund is being set up to help them pay for any medical or other costs that they incur as a result. The press release could name a contact where contributions could be sent and any unused funds would be donated to a charity after the election was over.
Such a press release would be bound to garner widespread media coverage and paint Kerry's people as violent extremists. It would be a PR coup and might even serve to stop the attacks.
