And I don't suppose the LAT story mentioned that little fact?

That's okay. Actually I think with the money they have they have used it better than George Soros could ever have.

I guess I'm surprised T. Boone Pickens is still around--that name is a blast from the past--but I sure am glad they've replenished the Swifties.

I don't think they can use this money to run TV ads - since it's "soft money".

Funny how they omit any mention of MoveOn, ACT ! Maybe Pickens isn't such a bad guy after all, spending some of that "greenmail".
"Given the national laughingstock this discredited group is, you would have thought that the Bush-Rove money men would have invested in something more reliable and useful, like snake oil," said Kerry campaign spokesman Michael Meehan.
Meehan who, after some yes/no questions from Hannity last night, fled the scene during a commercial break.

It was easy for the Swift Vet ads to be effective, they are true whereas Soros and Co. just put out a bunch of slop and tries to make us believe it.

George Soros considered the race all sown up several months ago and hadn't given anything else to 527s. Just this week he started giving again...another $3 million this week (which is more than all those dastardly Texas Republicans put together) I am waiting patiently for that article.

With its treasury swelled by the two Texans, the Swift boat group has launched a new cycle of campaign ads claiming that Kerry "betrayed his fellow veterans" by meeting with "enemy" Vietnamese negotiators in Paris during the Vietnam War. Why is the word enemy in quotes?
Oh, right, this is the LA Times.
