Another ballplayer in trouble. The only thing surprising here is that he didn't rape the girl after crapping in her closet.
If substance abuse wasn't a factor here, I'll eat my shirt.

"He denied breaking into the Barry University dormitory."
No denial of the defecation! I guess they had his DNA!

Piss poor reporting.
Davenport was a Miami college player when it happened. The article makes it sound like a he was a Green Bay Packer player.
Not defending the guy or the Packers, he was probably boozed up when he did it. Being a Miami player, she should be glad she was not sexually assaulted.

Not in the article: He played for U of Miami. Drafted in 2002. 250# running back.

To: esryle
Are they sure the player wasn't sleep walking? A laundry basket in a closet sure could seem like a "water closet" to a very tired/sleepwalking person.

Mr. Davenport replied that the breaking-in part was not true but he admitted "consensual defecation" with the woman.

I remember way back in college (the drinking age was 18 then), someone in the dorm got really drunk and had a dream his roommate's bed was on fire. He put the fire out by . . . well, by using whatever "water supply" was available. When he woke up, he realized he hadn't been dreaming when he saw all his roomate's bedding thrown out the door. His roommate moved out that day.
It seemed a bit funny when we were all 18. Past a certain age, though (or maybe even AT that age), it's not funny at all.
Moderator - I tried not to cross any "decency" lines. Sorry if i did.
