Blockbuster is a Viacom/CBS/MTV Sumner Redstone company. Their movie selection seems to fit an MTV agenda. Not many John Wayne movies can be found there.
I refuse to do business with them.

Netflix has it and has already mailed it to me.

I switched to Netflix after paying twice for a movie for being a few hours late. This would not be so bad if the prices were not so outrageously high to start with.

They have a perfect right to charge high prices, and I have a perfect right to switch to Netflix. I LOVE Netflix. No need to worry about due dates. You finish a movie and take it to the mailbox. Shipping is covered by the flat monthly fee. We have been enjoying watching episodes of The Saint. No ads, and takes less than an hour. They have black adder, countless regular feature films, and a few foreign films. They could use more foreign films, but that will come in time. Walmart had a similar plan, with a smaller selection, I think, but I hear that they use a bar code system under which they send you your next movie the minute the PO scans in the one you are returning.

Please don't ruin Netflix for me by telling me that someone like Soros controls it. I like shifting my custom away from Viacom.
