Wardrobe: casual or uniform
On this late notice, I'm gonna have to get liposuction.
I may still have my Girl Scout uniform, would that work?
And then do what then Tigers Manager Billy Martin did to Topps in 1972 on one of my favorite baseball cards.....;)
Yhat's so typical.Sort of like public school teachers putting their kids into private school. Non-Union is cheaper and less likely to delay production.....
Does SAG lnow abouit it? If so, why are they silent?(as if I don't know)
I don't think they want actual soldiers... I wonder if the ads will admit they are ACTORS PORTRAYING SOLDIERS... like the other ads on tv are required to do. I am sure the real soldiers would eventually shoot the producers and their assistants.
An idea for a uniform...pajamas..with coffee of course.
I sent a copy of the ad to the "West Side Republicans" here in Los Angeles. The Bush campaign might like to respond.
Just some info on public school teachers sending their kids to private school...I'm a public school teacher and I send my 7 year old daughter to parochial school for 2 reasons. One..I want her to have the opportunity to learn about religion and have the moral fiber our church offers. She knows she can talk freely about God without a teacher dismissing her questions. Can't be done in public school...may offend another student. Two..although I try to provide her with her value system, I can't always minimze her dad's (my ex) influence of his lack of values, morals and responsibility. I can only hope that between me, my family and her school, that she'll have (and use) her moral upbringing. I hope that clarifies why some of us public school teachers send our child(ren) to private school.
It does indeed. Perhaps you can also verify how bad some of the public schools are and how poor the product on both sides is, another incentive for placing one's children in a private system.
There are some wonderful public (and private) school teachers. That being said, there are some that lack the passion and purpose. Many people go into the profession to make a difference, but sadly, the difference isn't always good. As with any area, to some, teaching is a job rather than deliberate choice. Kids sense a person's true character. The kids know when I'm having my good days...and my infrequent bad day. Same theory holds true for teachers that want to be there for the right reasons. Kids can tell. Some become disillusioned with teaching not because of the kids, but because of administration and parents. Teachers are blamed when parents don't take responsibility for the kids that they've raised. Teachers are blamed when administrators need a scapegoat. Parents are a child's firt teacher. If a parent is lacking personal accountability, it's likely that the child will as well. When that same child misbehaves or fails or cheats, those irresponsible parents blame the teacher. I had a parent tell me and the team (middle school) that her son was our problem when he was in school and she didn't want to deal with him. His reckless behavior has increased...and Mom wants to blame the teachers. I hope that answers a bit of your question...I may have gotten "off topic". Let me know and I'll add more:)
Will there be dancing?
This could be my big break!
