NOw this is an interesting turn...
I thought the police unions were FOR the assault weapons ban -
Then again, GW stated that he would sign it IF it came to him.
Oh well ....

President Bush has made combating crime a top priority of his administration. During his time in office, he has launched unprecedented efforts to crack down on gun crime, rein in corporate fraud, and reduce criminal recidivism. Thanks to President Bush's efforts, the violent crime rate is down 21 percent to a 30-year low. The President has also successfully sought historic funding levels to support the efforts of first responders and increased funding for first responders 680 percent from the previous administration. I hope the President makes this point in the next debate. To hear Kerry, the President hasn't done a thing on any of these issues because (say it all together now) he gave all the money to the wealthy and Iraq.

Whew, what a relief! When I saw the word "FOP," I automatically thought of Kerry.

Yes, thank you, thank you. I'm sure President Bush was very pleased, and very proud of, the confidence you've placed in him. The rest of us are very proud of, and thankful to, our heroic first responders!

WOOOHOOO! I knew the good guys in blue would recognize a fellow good guy and support him. How on earth could law enforcement possibly support a cheat and lier like Kerry!

May GOD bless not only our troops, but also our police and firefighters. That's two blessings on my son who is a cop in civilian life but is on active duty in Iraq!

He's been in Iraq for more than a year and has actually gained weight.
Still complains about the food though.
That's my grand daughter (His niece) that he's got the cuffs on.

Terrific endorsement. Our police are really smart, they know strength and leadership when they see it.

When I see union members loudly supporting Kerry, it's obvious that they like their men wearing lipstick,
having a soft orange glow with speedo tan lines,
filled with Botox and sporting a new manicure.
The FOP is obviously not a girly man union, like some of the others.
