My sympathies.....

...from California.

Sunday morning when I couldn't get onto the board, my first thought was "AHHHH!!!! WE'VE BEEN HACKED!!!"

"What would you do Without FR?????

1. Find out who the 2 females in my house are. Talk to them more. (Rumor has it that they're Mrs. fuquadukie and daughter of fuquadukie.)

2. Work more.

3. Play more golf. 70+ rounds a year is not enough.

I'd actually work, I spend all day here!

But, I'd probably get a lot less funny looks from the co workers whenver I laugh at something here!

Signed up for $10/month, my fiance does the same. We went away the past weekend and I missed FR so much!

laundry, most likely.

Seriously though...I'd be lost. Free Republic has inspired, educated and thrilled me all in one. Thank you JimRob!!!

I would probably take care of some mundane things like - get more work done, spend more time with my family, clean my house, pay my bills on time, answer my phone and make (I mean actually prepare from scratch) dinners as opposed to the microwave, Subway and Pizza Hut. I'd be more socially active, be out of the house more and generally be more active doing things like hobbies, traveling and maintaining the house and cars.

Don't get me wrong, I still do these things, just not as often as I would if Free Republic didn't exist. This sounds pretty pathetic but while I enjoy doing other things, I have a genuine passion for FR. And while some things are neglected because of the time I spend on the site, I have discovered so many things that are of interest to me that otherwise would have gone un-noticed.

FR is my cyber family and I am much better informed and much better equipped to debate issues with others that I was completely ignorant of before discovering FR. I learned HTML from FR. When I do venture out into my community, I have a much better understanding and appreciation for the value of community.

I could go on and on but the main point that I'm trying to make is - I don't know what my life would be like without FR. I'm sure that I'd be just fine without it but I really believe that FR has enhanced my life and I don't like thinking about what it would be like without it.

Thank you my FReeper friends and Thank you Jim Robinson.

ROFL...I was going to say the same thing. My house would be a lot cleaner and we probably wouldn't be 4 days behind on our school.

*sigh*....I would be lost and more ignorant than I already am. I can't live without my education from Free Republic...or my friends here.

Ohio Freepers lets go! We can show better than we have. I'm trying to hold up my end. I just made a donation to FR because I enjoy this website and its now a daily stop for me. You dont have to give till it hurts... but I think Lurch got a few purple hearts for less!
