8-Foot Snake Gets Lost in Movie Theater
October 1, 2004 — It's not quite Scream Three, but there was a real heart-stopper on the screen at a Houston movie-plex.
An eight-foot snake, believed to be a Burmese python, was slithering in front of one of the screens.
The roving reptile scared a janitor, but it, too, was so scared, it slithered away and hasn't been seen since. The theater owner says it won't be showing any flicks until a professional snake-catcher goes in and gets the critter out of the building.
Among the movies playing at the Tinseltown theater is the horror-thriller "Anacondas."
