The mosquitos were nasty this year .. I'm surprised I didn't get the West Nile Virus
I don't mind winter so much .. it's just that it is sooooooooo long
I normally do mind winter but I'm hoping that maybe this year it will be a bit kinder --- I swear it's been raining since last september.
I had a garden that measures 1/3 of an acre...........it became a swamp.
Needless to say, what the deer didn't eat, I pretty much lost everything. This week I'm going to see what I can salvage from my chile peppers and then we are just going to start tilling it for next year.
Skeeters in this area are considered the local bird. when given a choice between skeeters or seagulls, the locals opt for the skeeters. I've been a walking welt for the past 2 months.
