Do you that there are "supervolcanoes?"..the largest is the entire area under Yellowstone...it last blew some 100,000 years ago, supposed to go again, "soon"..whatever the hell that means..

Actually Yellowstone went up 600,000 years ago .... check out Supervolcano Tomu and its eruption about 75,000 years ago .. killed almost every human on the planet.

The cine pictures were actually fairly clear. They must be pooling with somebody already set up at Mt. St. Helens.

This is a pretty fascinating story, if anyone has done any research on it. Supposedly the human population at the time dwindled to 2,000.

The ash cloud has obscured the picture. It's all white with a little red x (I guess that marks the crater) in the corner.
