You say it more eloquently than I...Islam is more than a faith, it is a way of life...encompassing government, culture, international relations...Islam is at the stage Christianity was in the first century--convert or die. Even their heretics are killed, as were our Cathars, our Jansenists, our Protestants. We have the Enlightenment, the Renaissance and the industrial revolution to thank for where we are now. Those sea-changes in our way of viewing the world set us free and yet now are stifling our voices.
