Because there are lots of folks who think telling the emperor he has no clothes is a mortal sin. Though I will hold my nose and vote for Bush because the Democrats have become dangerously irresponsible (there liberalism is not just like teenagers, but teenagers who downed all of Daddy's secret stash) after November, the long-knives need to come out and conservatives have to retake the party.
