"Let me ask you a question that I've asked on other threads. If this punk is president on 1/21/05, and you had sons of the age to enlist, would you encourage them to do so with Kerry as their Commander in Chief? "
I'll ask another question, since I don't have a son. If
Kerry is elected, shouldn't Bush pull our troops out of Iraq? Why would a caring commander in chief leave volunteer troops in a position of having to fight for a "mistake?" (To be clear, that is Kerry's view, not mine.)
I have really thought that over, and to my mind, Bush should just flat out say "If you agree that the Iraq invasion was a mistake, vote for my opponent, and if he wins, I'll have our troops home by January 20. 2005."

...to my mind, Bush should just flat out say "... if he wins, I'll have our troops home by January 20. 2005." Sharp. But I don't know how it would sit with voters.CNN et.al. would be all over it. Might backfire.

sKerry doesn't care. He'll take your daughter. Did the media notice that only one candidate promised not to draft? Stack all that against Rangel's proposal and 'suggestions' from the Dims for 'national service.' This is a set up, and I'll bet my hat, ass and overcoat they'll induct every kid in the country in some courvee. Very French. They'll blame it on the Republicans, of course.
