I think it's wonderful that there are so many good causes people can sink their hearts into. I find that people who rescue critters as a calling never regret it. But if you don't find this cause worthy of your money, perhaps you'd like to donate instead to one of the Haiti hurricane relief funds. No one is stopping you.
Compassion knows no borders, especially when it comes to the innocent animals. How wonderful!
