More importantly, they'll tell Rove! Rove is NOT going to be amused if this is true.

This is a non-winning issue for team W. If this is pursued, thay can just claim it was a note pad.
even if it was technically against the rules, team Kerry will just paint team W as being desperate.
More attention needs to be paid to what Kerry said (global test, nuclear fuel for Iran, etc.) rather thanj this note business.

I take strong issue with the statement. That happens frequently around here.
(dozen)... DemocRATs who do not cheat and they would NEVER be worth an honest Republican.
I can appreciate your sentiments.
Upon reflection, you may come to see you probably could have put it a bit better!
No, I think I said it just about right. But thanks for the critique anyway.

What's worse about this is that Jim Lehrer is staring straight at him while he pulls it out, almost waiting for him to do it before they proceed with the debate. Furthur, you can could tell Kerry was trying to shield it, but I noticed it pretty plainly, as I'm sure lots of others did. Let's not forget that it's not against Democrats to cheat, they do it all the time and they would certainly do it to try to win.

At the begining of the debate, when they shook hands, it seems to me that Kerry would not let go of GWB's hand to irritate him.Mike Savage opined that it was Kerry's intent to dominate and intimidate GWB during the handshake. Savage compared it to a Sumo wrestling match. He also drew Bush toward him as he grabbed his hand.

But he took it out of his pocket. They were provided paper to write on. The point is he took something out of his pocket which was against the rules.

Oh.Ok. But I still think it will be ignored. The media is doing everything in its power and then some to prop Kerry up and make him look like a legitimate candidate long enough to get the ignorant to vote for him.

What a scum. I always thought that something was wrong during that debate because Kerry is not that clear thinking NOR is he that knowledgeable. (His absentee rate was so high during his committee/ Senate tenure that there is no way he knew this stuff off the top of his head.) I kept looking for an ear piece because I couldn't believe that this stuff was coming from his mouth. It was so un-Kerrylike, I thought he was channeling James Carville but just couldn't figure out how.
I guess we figured out "how" he got at least some of his talking points. The guy in real life is both a dilettante and a dope, and now guess what, like his good bud Kennedy and Clinton also a cheat and a liar. What a surprise.

They were the practiced responses to each of Lehrer's questions.

Whether he cheated or not, there will be lots of eyes on him in the next debate. That is reason enough to apply the pressure. He will be hard pressed to cheat in the next debate (town hall) and the pressure will keep him from trying again for the final one on domestic issues.

Yup. Algore is probably real sorry he ever thought to invent the internet!

...I thought Bush was winning for about the first half hour...I agree. Kerry was stumbling at first.
You could see Bush get tired. He'd have moments of spirited statements then get weak.
