I posted it because although it was taken prior to the debate, it is front page news in Columbus TODAY.
The poll included Thursday and Friday (the same days included in Newsweek's bogus poll)!
NOTE: I spent most of yesterday joining dozens of other volunteers in making hundreds of calls for the OHIO RNC and can definitively state that NO ONE we spoke with had changed their vote based on Thursday's debate.
Republicans are still STRONGLY supporting President Bush and the Undecideds claim they will wait until the last week of the campaign before making a final decision (35% of the TINY number of 'undecideds' are leaning toward President Bush, 35% toward Kerry and 30% are just plain clueless)!
Only if you think Kerry's performance was so amazingly, historically steallar that he wiped out an eleven point lead in Ohio. Otherwise it's an important trend-indicator.
I don't see anyone dancing in the streets about Kerry surging. No one, even most dems, are aware of the stacked Newsweek poll.
Kerry won the debate, but that's like saying he had a single good rally. This election wasn't hinging on that or any debate. Not this year--the stakes are too high.
