WASHINGTON - John Kerry on Saturday looked to frame the next presidential debate in a speech criticizing President Bush's economic record, but also tried to get in a final word about their last face-off by declaring himself the winner and Bush a liar. "George Bush lost the debate," an announcer says in a television ad Kerry's campaign unveiled Saturday. "Now he's lying about it."

His response: ""I've never, ever used the harshest word, as you did just then...And I try not to, but I'll nevertheless tell you that I think he has not been candid with the American people."
John Kerry isn't a leader, but he plays one on TV.
Ja, das democrat hack ist nur ein grosse sitzpinkler und ganzen dorkishe.
Has been posted, but is too delicious. What a little crybaby. If Kerry is upset about who is calling Bush a winner, or the debate a tie, he needs to complain to the mass media pundits. LOL What a dork.
Am I just completely out of touch with the American swing voter, or is this the least effective ad ever?
I mean, Kerry's people are political professionals, whereas I'm a rank amateur. Is it possible that they are as incompetent as they seem to me?
It does give pause. Either they are no longer capable of rational thought, or they are intentionally trying to hurt Kerry. Then, kerry is also known to micro-manage everything. He could have insisted on the ad. Impossible to know yet.
I'm just going to enjoy the insanity. LOL The ad is too delicious. That he is screaming he WON, is petty and gives insight into the nature of his character and (possibly) insight into internals that suggest he didn't get the movement in vote tallies he thought he did.
I just realized something. They misspelled "pre-emptive" as "premptive" on the screen.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to do a screen grab, but you can watch it yourself on the Kerry website.

The only ones who will love this ad are those whose entire vocabulary about the President is, "Bush lied." Shallow, stupid, people blinded by hatred for the President.
The one who is lying is Kerry when he says there were no links between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda. There are so many links that I think Kerry must be mentally unbalanced to argue this point.
Hundreds of connections between Iraq and AQ and Saddam and OBL here:

And, if you get a chance, pick up Hayes' book, "The Connection." This book not only lays it all out, but it also shows how the media worked diligently to bury the story.

But this is their big change up ad from "Bush is a bad person and looks like a chimp". It's supposed to be a one-two punch...you know one-two? :^)
Bush is really not giving them much. He left them with no material from the debate except to crow that they won and Bush made irritated facial expressions.
Bush will win by at least 10 percentage poits! Ten points!
There's a pretty lengthy thread in that link I posted that gives a good synopsis of The Connections. Hayes has been one of the few reporters who has actually looked into this matter, instead of just repeating DNC spin.
IF Kerry won the debate, we should elect him to a position where his skills will be of the most use....how about the most exclusive debating society in the world, the US Senate?
Oh he's already a Senator? Perhaps he should show up more often and display his debating expertise!
Mr. Bush, on the other hand, seems to display the ability to make a principled decision and see it through, even if popular opinion is shifted by the media.
Digital cameras are neat.
Very poorly produced ad.
When kerry goes around the country he brags about his viet nam service. Now he's going around bragging about winning the debate. A real man doesn't need to remind people of his accomplishments. Me thinks he doth brag too much.
Is he a big hack and a wanker?
Kerry's campaign insisted that its new ad would run. However, at least three such response ads it produced over the past two weeks never made it to the airwaves and were used solely to generate news coverage.
This was buried in the middle of the story, but it's the most important thing in this article. The RATs have no intention of running such ads; they just use their existence to get media coverage.
