The "presence of a gun in the home" issue with regard to teen suicides is bogus. Japan has one of the highest teen suicide rates in the world and there are no guns in their homes. There is a profusion of knives, pills, and train tracks that do very nicely.

BTW, anyone notice the error in the first sentence? I doubt seriously if all those folks were pleading for Congress to let the ban expire. But they should have been.
