LOL!I deleted my sarcastic "we're all gonna die" post after a discussion with one of the panic/manic brigade members .
He was too human.
Kerry projected an image of masterful debater, tall, forceful, and in any partial sentence fragment well-spoken. Aloof, "Presidential" of a distant unreachable variety Soi disant -- too use a francish bonnie mot I have no idea what it means. But when talking of Kerry one must tout alors use some french. Kerry was styling. All Pompadour and Circumstance.
Whereas Bush didn't project at all.
He was just a man, a fellow human. Can't hate a man when he appears like that.
The wave against Bush broke in that debate. His hate of the haters has lost any mooring it had.
I'm sensing some optimism coming back to the universe.
My college age daughter in Eugene, OR, listened to the debate on the radio with her roommates. She and all of her friends are voting for Bush. She said'" Bush sounded nicer, gentle, like he really cared, Kerry sounded mean and we did not like his tone or what he said about Bush."
Awesome huh?
Oh S***! The sky is falling! Someone is eating the Sun!
