It's obvious the media is going all out to destroy Bush. They will lie and slander and don't care if they get caught, as in this memo forgery-which they knew many people they contacted said they were fake and Killian's family said they were fake, but they went ahead anyway. There is calculation through most of the media-CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, the major liberal papers, entertainment to deliberately attack Republicans. We've got a propaganda war going on with these people stopping at nothing. I am of the belief war needs to be declared on these organizations. They need to be rightly labelled Demonrat whores. They need to be confronted, sued for libel.

It's obvious the media is going all out to destroy Bush. And they wonder why their influence is waining. They will be real toast after 02NOV.

Due to the Supreme Court's "Sullivan" decision in 1965 (yr?), it is almost impossible for a public figure to sue the media, based on what they have been doing to the President. The burden of proof is too high. (You'd probably require witnesses to testify that there had been meetings at which editors told staffers that they were going to get Bush, even though they knew they were lying about him.) With that said, however, the President can and must use the bully pulpit of the Presidency as Ronald Reagan did. If Bush loses the election, it be because he failed to do that.

You bring more clarity to this. Many still believe that the MSM is not really that biased. They make the case that they are misguided or sloppy. We should long for the day when these fanatics are truly exposed and banned from all places where decent people gather!

ABC's 20/20 did a hit on the Bush family last night using the ex-wife of Neal, youngest brother of G.W. She is upset as she only gets $2,500 a month and may have to sell her house. What happened to working for a living?
