Hi All,
I didn't see a thread on this rally so I thought I would start one. Today was a family affair, my husband, son and I attended the Manchester NH Rally, not only did we see President Bush and Senator McCain, but we were entertained by the Oak Ridge Boys and Mama Bush showed up as a surprise for the President . I was told by staffers that there were 8000 tickets (but then there were rumors that another 2000 where given out) to this affair. And how we were packed in there I believe that many if not more where there. They did an incredible job as everyone had to be shuttle bus in. Some Kerry Protesters did manage to picket a bit, but as each bus pulled up, everyone just shouted them down with 4 more Years. President Bush was right on message and was as good if not better then the Town Hall meeting we attended in August in Nashua NH. The crowd was patient and behaved very well even when some guy kept trying to interrupt the President. Unlike democrats, the people around him just held up their signs and started chanting 4 more years. Didn't lay one finger on him. The guy finally gave up his quest and just stood there and behaved like all children should. And one of the most enjoyable things that happened was how all the youth were fired up about President Bush after the Rally. So if anyone has a chance to attend, please do so, you won't regret it.
Enjoy the pictures

We need some great news and good happenings.
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome photos! Thank You for being there to support President Bush.

What's this guy's story? Did he lose his other earring and was frustrated that none of these Republicans would help him find it?
Thanks for those great pictures.
Looks like Mama Bush is bringin' it! You tell em, Mom.
Isn't that interruptor Howard Dean?
I was at the rally today too, the President was awesome! A great day!
Love the kerry guy's ear ring..

I just watched the last 15 minutes or so on c-span. Looked like a beautiful day and the President was on his game. He even had a few new lines for this one (most of his lines we've all heard a hundred times by now, with subtle variations). The crowd noise was muted, so it was hard to gauge the audience reaction, or even to tell how many were there, in the part I saw.
The most interesting thing I noticed was that man mountain of a Secret Service man he had.
This rally was on CSPIN about an hour ago. It was great to see but I do wish they would back the camera so we could see the size of the crowd.
AWESOME photos from what certainly seemed like an awesome rally (I watched in on C-Span)!!!
WE NEED NEW HAMPSHIRE!!!
Thank you for posting this thread. Thank you also for your pics. They're extraordinary!
Bush/Cheney '04!
Great photos! We also enjoyed the rally. What television doesn't show is the sincerity in the president's words. I wish more people could see him in person. His eyes don't lie, he speaks directly to the issues he believes in. No wavering, no apologies, and no pretense. I'd supported him before today, but only marginally, never enough to even put on a bumper sticker. He proved today he's more than the President, more than a politician. He's a honest, sincere man. That counts for a lot.
Yup...got a bumper sticker. Got to write a check next.
I think you mean one of the OakRidge Boys? the cowboy hat and beard???
"I think you mean one of the OakRidge Boys? the cowboy hat and beard???"
No, this was a very large, bald SS man who walked behind W as he was shaking hands, having pics taken, etc. after the speech. He was at least 6 or 7 inches taller than GWB, and very burly.
I see, well being short, I didn't see the Presidents entrance, until he got past taller people in front of me, which was ok. We had a great time.

There were a lot of people there - and we had a great day.
very cool - this was on C-SPAN
Thanks Everyone, I enjoy doing this for the President.
And yes the crazy was huge, but very nice. To bad the news coverage wasn't as nice. But those who were there know the real truth :-)
