Kerry will not be constrained by logic or consistency in his rhetoric, but he is glib, which got him through last night. If Kerry won a victory last night, it was very shallow, and based in the fleeting televised images. Bush owned the logic and substance hands down.
Inasmuch as Kerry is a walking psychological freak show, any emboldenment on his part could make for some interesting entertainment down the road.
