I was thinking about the situation in Gettysburg. It truly surprises me, as the entire Adams County area is a Republican area (barring what goes on at Gettysburg College.)

Any updates?

No, no updates except the items thrown through the window were 2 beer bottles -- one beer bottle, thrown at a stand-up cardboard figure of George Bush, broke the window.

There was a tiny item today in the crime section of the local (liberal) paper, The Gettysburg Times, but nothing on their website that I could post here.

Adams County is 3-1 Republican, but there is a liberal college in town.

About two weeks ago someone shot the plate glass window with a pellet gun that damaged but did not break the glass, so this is the second incident.

Since all these incidents take place at night -- windows being broken and signs stolen -- we are taking the Bush signs out of our yard at night so they won't be stolen and putting them back at daylight.
