To: Old Lady

yeah that area would be nice to retire in, but I still remember living in NYC and seeing all the people...moving to that little hick town was a culture shock to say the least...

growing up there was a pain too. You are considered an outsider if you dont have more than 3 generations in the ground surrounding the town. Needless to say I didnt figure this out until I was about 12 or so and trying to make friends but finding it hard because they just considered me odd only because I wasnt born there....

Gettysburg has nice fields and forests for hiking and contemplating your navel.

The worst thing about Gettysburg is you have to drive 35 miles to get to a real bookstore. The second worst thing is the monster trucks on all the roads. This is my 3rd year living here, and I am still trying to get used to it. Give me good old DC any day...

You are so right about the clic of Waynesboro and the attitude about the school students. I have heard that from more than one person. They live in somewhat of a time warp. It is interesting.
