A man arrested by U.S. authorities in Iraq had a computer disk in his possession containing a public report downloaded from a U.S. Department of Education Web site on crisis planning in school districts, including San Diego Unified.

The man was described as an Iraqi national with connections to terrorism and the insurgency that is fighting U.S. forces in Iraq. Officials in San Diego said the man's intentions were unknown.

If you never thought our public schools were targets ... Just like Beslan well here is the proof...How can we even consider a "Global Test". When our children are being raped and burned in their schools by Islamic Facists what Global Test will we have to pass... Kerry is an empty suit... Don't tell me what you think I want to hear because you probably got it wrong...

Wait - nothing we do in Iraq is helping in the war on terror. This must be a mistake. It's the wrong war, at the wrong time, in the wrong place - correct? Cannot possibly be achieving anything that might disrupt terrorist planning worldwide. Skerry told me so last night.

I urge freepers to e-mail the entire article to friends who have children.

Those security moms need to know what's at stake in this country.

It can happen here, sadly.

I saw this story posted on another thread. But, if anything deserves multiple posts it's this story.

Remember the pictures from Beslan. We'll be seeing more just like them here if this country is stupid enough to vote for Kerry.

I agree! This story needs to get out. This guy obviously had this disk for a reason. Tell me where in the press you have seen mention of this?

I saw this on another FR thread earlier, but I couldn't post ('puter troubles)...what I got from the earlier attached article was that school districts information was found...so that this is not just referencing San Diego. Very, very scary. Why hasn't this been on the MSM? Is this a 'big' story in San Diego? Because other than FR I haven't seen this anywhere.

Only in a San Diego newspaper yesterday.

Truly...e-mail this to everyone you know. They will e-mail their friends. This is the power of the internet. We cannot rely on Old Media to tell us these things.

Hopefully others will assist in getting this story out by emailing to Bloggers, press, etc. I don't know why it's being buried other than no one wants to cause panic.

"No threat seen to district; children are safe, police say"

To the Union-Trib staff writer: nice headline you got there

California had better wake up.

Just like Beslan well here is the proof.

Looks like al-quida is planning the same school horror here as in Russia.

I'm sure our porous southern border will ease the way for baby rapin Islamic killers to enter the country along with the thousands of cheap illegal laboring Mexicans that come across everyday.

Of course you can thank President Bush, the Republican party and the Rat party as well for that, by the way.

Exact text of message I sent to lots of folks:

A man arrested by U.S. authorities in Iraq had a computer disk in his possession containing a public report downloaded from a U.S. Department of Education Web site on crisis planning in school districts, including San Diego Unified. The man was described as an Iraqi national with connections to terrorism and the insurgency that is fighting U.S. forces in Iraq.

Check out this link from a San Diego on line newspaper – Beslan CAN happen here. Iraq is not the wrong war at the wrong time in the wrong place. We are taking the fight to the terrorists and there is no option but to prevail.

San Diego would be the perfect target for terrorists. The Mexican-American border is so porous, it's the perfect vector from which the terrorists can enter the U.S. And from there, it's the closest soft target that they'll hit.

Who wants to take bets that they'll strike close to November 2nd when Kerry begins his final plummet in the polls?
