Fantastic! I've been reading that some people think Dubya was 'strategerizing' last night - giving kerry rope to hang himself, 'letting' him off easy this first debate, and picking up more ammo to nail him with these last few weeks. We should NEVER misunderestimate him! Never!

I am always so nervous watching the debates. President Bush did very well, a man who is honest, consistent, says what he means and means what he says. President Bush loves our Military, and our Military loves President Bush. Being from New York, and as an American, I am proud of President Bush's great leadership after we were attacked on 9/11 and his continued leadership. He is going after the terrorists and we are getting them one by one.I am proud to drive around with my Bush/Cheney '04 bumper sticker. Kerry lies about his lies, makes me so angry listening to him. Kerry's anti-defense record as a Senator is despicable. This man isn't fit to hold any office in American government, as far as I am concerned.

I couldn't agree with you more. I must admit this was the first time I've watched President Bush debate and only for about 30 minutes. I never watched him debate in Texas when he was running for Governor. Love your fall picture.

Hi sistah billie and brotah louie. Have been mostly awol today...that work thing..... Have been catching up on the thread and dabate feedback...admit billie my initial feeling was similar to yours..especially after hearing the media spin.

brotha wolfie...thanks for your confidence...and in hindsight....I think GWB will be okay. Gosh...he spent all day with hurricane victims while kerry was getting a manicure Geesh! Gosh...in the media...he's damned if he does...damned if he doesn't.

LOL....Dem. mother (who I call almost EVERY DAY...pay for her cell phone which she rarely uses) left a message today...why weren't we home (we were walking the dogs) they were on their way out to dinner and figured I was probably not answering the phone as I was probably in "mourning" over the debates. I called her back...had a pleasant exchange and NEVER brought it up. She kept saying..."did you get my message" and I said yes...was glad to hear from her...Would NOT bite. Think I ruined her night LOL!

Anyway...we were on our way out to a football game...Mr. D. got a call about a fatal car accident and was asked to go to the scene. We always hate these. It's homecoming night...prayers that it not some kids....
