What I remember about last night:
Kerry stating that Sadaam was NOT a threat. Then, 88 minutes later stating that Sadaam was a threat. (Boston Globe (today) and Rudy Giulliani (last night) concur)
Kerry still wants permission from the Global community on how and when to protect America...hogwash.
My thirteen year old daughter was aghast at that Kerry bit of logic. He did flip flop. He also lied when he said he had never said that President Bush lied about Iraq. He has said the President lied. If one listens more to what Kerry says and not how he says it (although that grates on me), the truth of flimsy stance is obvious.
I thought Kerry looked just horrible last night. Literally. He had that derisive sneer on his face all night. He showed disrespect for our troops and allies (remember that sarcastic gesture he made when Bush mentioned Poland?). Half the time he was nodding his head, as if in agreement, but when he opened his mouth it was to go on the attack without every once laying out a plan of his own.
When Bush mentioned several times that a man who believes this is the wrong war at the wrong time is in no position to lead our troops who are already there, he had no coherent response.
And the NY subways did not shut down during the convention!
