I always considered the NY Daily News to be Liberal, except for their editorial section lately.

The Daily News is moderate --- for New York City. It's not as loony left as the New York Times and nowhere near as conservative as the New York Post. Of the three major New York dailies, it's in the middle.

Of course, since New York City is more liberal than the rest of the country, the Daily News is more liberal than what many would consider to be a "moderate" paper.
