When Bush was repeating programmed talking points, he was terrible. He sounded defensive (and occasionally even whiny), and he repeated himself too much.
When he was just talking, he was terrific, as usual.
No programmed talking points for the next debate. Let Bush be Bush.
But I don't think Kerry did much better. He's an arrogant creep, and all the spray-on tan in Malibu can't cover it up.
"Treblinka Square"?
I think he means "Lubyanka."

The truth is the debate turned out to be as
much a "show" as a debate over who will run our
country in a time of war. If you score the debate
solely on show value it was a near tie or you put
f'ing a little ahead since he lies so easily it's
easy to "look" good. If you score the debate on
someone who can actually run the country, deal with
the myriad of aspects that a chief exec. has to deal
with, it's not even close Bush wins hands down. Once again
with Kerry it's the BS effect, he continues to slide by
on BS which works for about 50% of the country. We do
have our work cut out, we have to continue to expose
f'ing for what he is a liar with no plan whatsoever
for the country. Bush is the right man at the right time
but he needs help.
